adhoc

About this collection

Much of the scanning at the Georgia Archives is impromptu.  A document may be digitized to fulfill a customer order, before being placed on exhibit, or for a class presentation, for example.  We have gathered these random images together, called them the “ad hoc” collection, and make them available to you here.  We hope you enjoy them.

Usage Note: Students and teachers may use images in classroom reports and presentations if the following credit line is included with the image: Courtesy of the Georgia Archives. Each image has a "Cite as" field in the Document Description. Users can form a complete citation by combining the "Title," "Date" and "Cite as" fields for the individual image.

Publication in any form, including print, website, social media and blogs, requires permission.  We charge not-for-profit and commercial use fees to support maintenance of the collection.

Ordering: To order reproductions and apply for permission to publish, please contact Reference Services. Refer to a photograph by the collection name and identification number (e.g. "Ad Hoc Collection ah00127").
